Five individuals who
refused to look away
On August 4, 2020, one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history tore through the port of Beirut. Five individuals went out on their own, not as part of any organization, but simply because they had to.
Coming from different backgrounds, universities, and fields, we found each other in the chaos. We cleared debris, helped restore damaged spaces, supported affected neighborhoods, and witnessed firsthand how deeply environmental damage affects people, communities. Then we asked: why don't we make this official?
Six pillars of action
Ground-Level action
Year-round environmental initiatives designed to create visible, measurable, and lasting impact. From cleanups and tree planting to waste sorting and public space care, we believe environmental change begins with direct action on the ground.
Youth Engagement & Volunteer Mobilization
Empowering students and young volunteers to become active environmental changemakers through school programs, university partnerships, field activities, cleanups, awareness sessions, and hands-on sustainability initiatives.
Recycling & Responsible Waste Management
Promoting recycling, waste reduction, responsible disposal, and circular practices across communities, schools, universities, and businesses. This includes awareness campaigns, collection initiatives, and partnerships that help reduce the amount of waste reaching landfills, streets, rivers, and the sea.
Environmental Awareness & Education
Educating communities, students, and volunteers about sustainability, recycling, pollution prevention, biodiversity, water protection, and responsible environmental behavior. Through workshops, school campaigns, and public awareness activities, we aim to build a culture of care for the environment.
Used Oil Collection & E-Refining
Structured collection from factories, industrial zones, and fuel stations across Lebanon, preventing pollution at the source through re-refining.
Environmental Recovery
Supporting the restoration of areas affected by pollution, fires, waste accumulation, industrial impact, and environmental degradation. Our work focuses on identifying environmental needs, supporting cleanup efforts, raising awareness, and contributing to the recovery of damaged natural and public spaces.
Our first Initiative
On June 11th 2026, We organized a cleanup campaign at the Beirut Waterfront as part of our ongoing mission to support environmental protection, community engagement, and long- term sustainability.
The campaign brought together volunteers from different schools and universities, including Lycée Verdun, CPF, LAU, BAU, and others, to take direct action in support of a cleaner and greener public space.
